Entreprises Shippagan Ltée has established itself as one of the major wholesale distributors to the commercial fishing and aquaculture industries in Canada.  From its conception in 1977 as a supplier to local fishermen, it now has a client base spanning fishing communities from the western shore of British Columbia to the eastern shores of Newfoundland and Labrador.  It also exports to customers in the New England States, California and Europe.

Our company's head office and main warehouse, totalling 75 000 square feet, are located in the picturesque town of Shippagan, New Brunswick.  It is an ideal seaside location where our personnel can work in conjunction with fishermen and aqua-culturists to develop new products and techniques.  In order to better serve our customers, we have also established two distribution warehouses and sales offices.  One is located in Vancouver, British Columbia and the other in Sydney, Nova Scotia.

Recognizing the importance of a continuously developing industry, Entreprises Shippagan Ltée launched a new operation in the year 2000:  Sea-Alex Inc.  The new company's main reason for being is to manufacture products used in the cultivation of oysters, mussels and other aquacultural sectors.

In 2002, International Bait Supply Ltd was founded.  This new division of Entreprises Shippagan Ltée was developed to meet the demand for high quality bait products in the commercial fishing industry.  The company has since expanded its market to become a wholesale supplier of food grade fish.
